The latest Ad Manager update simplifies Instagram ad creation. Easily select your Instagram account, preview ads, and manage campaigns across Facebook and Instagram with improved flexibility.
Product Updates and Tutorials: Ad Manager - Instagram Ads

Managing Instagram ads is now easier than ever with the latest Ad Manager update. This enhancement streamlines ad setup by integrating Instagram account selection, preview options, and placement management—all within one workflow. Whether you’re running ads on both Facebook and Instagram or focusing solely on Instagram, these updates provide greater flexibility and efficiency.

What’s New in the Ad Manager Update?

Here are the key improvements that make Instagram advertising more seamless:

  • The Facebook Page selector is now placed within the campaign builder, right above the objective section.
  • Users can now select an Instagram account directly within the interface.
  • A new preview section lets advertisers see how their ads will look on Instagram Feed, Stories, and Reels before publishing.

How to Use the New Instagram Ad Integration

  1. Open Ad Manager and start a new campaign.
  2. Choose Meta Ad Campaign and select a Facebook Page.
  3. Select an Instagram Account for publishing:
    • If no Instagram account is connected, choose “Use Facebook Page” to display your ad with the page’s name and profile picture.

Why This Update Matters

This update makes Instagram ad management more efficient and flexible. Key benefits include:

  • Easier Workflow: Manage Facebook and Instagram ads in the same platform.
  • More Control: Choose between a linked Instagram account or using Facebook Page details.
  • Better Performance: Optimize ad reach across both platforms.
  • Enhanced Insights: Track Instagram ad performance in one dashboard.

Important Notes

  • Each Facebook Page can only be linked to one Instagram account at a time. To change the linked account, you must first disconnect the existing one via Meta’s platform.
  • The linking and unlinking process must be completed within Meta settings. Follow the provided instructions to make adjustments as needed.

With these improvements, advertisers can streamline their Instagram campaigns and maximize ad performance with minimal effort.
